Very sadly we have had to cancel this year’s Apple Day, which was due to take place on Sunday 18 October.

Due to this summer’s drought, the apple harvests have been so low that we have been unable to source enough quantities of heritage apples to make the event viable.

We are devastated – Apple Day is one of the highlights in our, and many people’s, calendars. However, we just cannot run the event unless it is going to be a fantastic experience for our visitors, and the main draw is the opportunity to sample a wide selection of apple varieties, which we are unable to offer.

If you have bought a ticket online, your tickets will be refunded in the next 3-5 working days – please do get in touch with us if you have not received your refund by the end of Friday 16 October. If you purchased tickets in person, please take your receipts to the Ticket Office for a refund.

Thank you for your understanding, we know that many people will be disappointed by this news, we are here at the Garden.
