Sylvia’s Library

'Sylvia's Library' is a collection of gardening-themed reference books in the Garden Cafe, installed in memory of volunteer Sylvia Norton.

Sylvia Norton was one of the Garden’s longest serving volunteers, devoting much time, knowledge and enthusiasm to the Cory Library for over twenty years. Sylvia, who had been a teacher, was always eager to share knowledge and encourage reading, and we therefore feel that ‘Sylvia’s Library’ is a fitting way to remember and celebrate her support of the library.

We welcome and encourage you to enjoy and make use of ‘Sylvia’s Library’, kindly asking you to note that books are for reference use only and should not be removed from the Cafe.
